Biosecurity Your Way Intro Video

Livestock and poultry producers contribute billions to the U.S. economy every year. But most U.S. operations are small farms, and small farms can be devastated by animal diseases. Diseases on the farm can slow animal growth, reduce productivity, and increase death loss. Diseases add to production costs. And, a foreign animal disease would put billions of dollars of U.S. exports at risk: meat, dairy, eggs, and wool. Develop a biosecurity plan now to keep diseases out and keep animals healthy. This video was funded by USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service through the National Animal Disease Preparedness and Response Program.
